Works, but its very Fragile. This tuner works fine, if you accept the fact that a digital tuner will always give you ‘discrete’ markings (i mean ’stepped’ markings). The downside is that DE Shop is somewhat fragile, since DE Shop fell out of my pocket to the floor (3.5ft height), and the display was damaged for good. It’s still usable, and DE Shop works, but most of the display LEDs are washed out. So I’m rating DE Shop 4 stars only.

This TV’s overall value FAR exceeds the pricier brands!. I’ve had the 32LB9D for about 9 months now, and I have to say I am constantly amazed by its quality! Especially when comparing with my friends’ Sony, Panasonic, and Sharp TVs.
First off is the picture quality. Out of the box, the “Intelligent Eye” mode is quite interesting … for me LG 42LH20 sufficed for a few weeks, after which I delved into the more detailed picture adjustments. Do yourself a favor: get a copy of any DVD that has picture adjustment features (I used ratatouille) and take the 10 minutes needed to adjust brightness, contrast, and color. With these adjustments, this TV looks better than just about any other I’ve seen in any nearby price range (I got the TV for $600 at the time).

Best buy for the money…. I’ve owned this TV for 2 months now and LG 19LU55 is great! The picture is awesome, especially when you can utilize its full-HD capabilities. LG 19LU55 doesn’t necessarily have all of the fancy features that other TV’s have like picture-in-picture, cableCard, or lots of menu options, but when put to the test, this TV will impress!
